CLOUD COMPUTING

Simply speaking Cloud computing means to run your business through a computing service provider (the Internet). You do not have to maintain your complete database in your own server. Literally speaking, you have to outsource your computing problems to the cloud vendor. What this vendor does is takes off your headache of purchasing, using, running and maintaining a sizable hardware as well as server. All your organization has to do is to find a service that will provide you the special kind of service you need; be it manufacturing, servicing, sales and marketing, HR functioning or whatever you name it. There are some very worthy companies who are providing these services to their clients with laurels. The beauty of the matter is that your company staff can access the requisite applications from anywhere in the world via a computer, a laptop, notebook or a smart phone and feed requisite data in your website as when they want.
The cloud service provider (BPO) maintains the infrastructure and allows you a platform to use the countless applications available with them so as to run your business suitably and keep your data secure over the internet , i.e. in the cloud. When you are on the move, it is so easy to access your data at your whim with the help of any type of internet connection.
What you get is a continuous access to your data without making any hard investment on creating infrastructure for your computing work. You do not need servers, hardware, applications, air-conditioned environment, technical staff to upkeep and be abreast of incessantly changing scenarios plus its maintenance cost, etc. Only you need to focus on developing, running and increasing your business as the time goes by.
With a cloud your business is safe and secure; they guarantee it! While your computer data may be lost due to hard drive failure, no such threat welcomes you in a cloud.
Most of all the cloud company will not charge you on lump sum, rather they charge you on your usage of the facilities they provide, that is you only pay for usage and that all. So cheap and non bothering.
Since cloud computing is in developing stage, there may be apprehensions with regards to accessibility, loss of data, security, etc. For this purpose all the client has to do is to follow the rules while selecting the most suitable cloud service provider. In case small to medium enterprener all they have to do is to assess what is their personal needs and select the appropriate service provider.
Definitely security of data of every company is of prime importance so one must take a deep look from all angles and discuss with the vendor [BPO]. However, this aspect depends on yourself. You see it works like Yahoo, Google, Facebook and Twitter. You open an account there and choose your own password to keep your mails, etc. safe. Unless you divulge your password to others, nobody can get access to your account. Same is the case here. For the threat of hackers, the vendors maintain full security because the issue is very sensitive.
If a company is entering in the business newly then it is ideal for them to choose a suitable vendor of cloud services at the outset. All one has to do is to sit down and discuss at length what kind of services he requires. The service provider will definitely meet your criteria and address your grievances from the beginning. This is really cost saving and headache removing.
